Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, attends Federal Executive Council meeting

 

Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Alhassan, is at the moment attending the Federal Executive Council meeting in the state house Abuja. This is after her recent interview with BBC Hausa where she revealed she would be going against her employer, President Buhari, during the 2019 election.

Aisha in the interview said if President Buhari would be up against former vice president Atiku Abubakar during the 2019 election, she would support and campaign for Atiku who she referred to as her godfather. Some Nigerians have described her as a disloyal member of the cabinet and have called on President Buhari to sack her.
