Ahead of the 2019 general elections, President Buhari last night, had a closed-door meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki and some state governors including Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari; Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari; Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu; and Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
The meeting took place at the presidential villa.
Details of the meeting weren't made known to newsmen but the meeting is coming when rumors of Saraki planning to defect to the opposition party, APC, was making the rounds.
