Dramatic moment border patrol chases a smuggler bringing illegal immigrants into Texas

This is the moment a U.S. border patrol gave chase after he saw a people smuggler bringing in immigrants from Mexico into the US through McAllen, Texas.

The border agent was showing reporters the main route smugglers use through when, coincidentally, they came across a group of illegal immigrants and the man who smuggled them in.

The lone Customs and Border Protection agent immediately chased after the smuggler but the shirtless man made it to the Rio Grande, quickly got into his inflatable raft, and rowed away.

After the smuggler rowed away, then about half a dozen young immigrants, including an infant, were taken for questioning.
