Nigerian singer Alizee’s husband, Peter Nielsen has been arrested for allegedly murdering the singer and their four-year-old daughter, Petra Nielsen.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, confirmed Peter Nielsen’s arrest, adding that crime scene investigators have been deployed to the scene.
Oti said;
“The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, has ordered the arrest of the suspect and he is in police custody. It is pre-emptive now to ascertain the cause of the incident.
The CP has dispatched crime scene investigators to the place to pick evidence for analysis which can be used for prosecution.
“The command has also written the Embassy of the suspect that the police are investigating the case.”
Although details of the circumstances surrounding the incident were still sketchy, Alizee, Ali Zainab Nielsen, and her daughter, Petra Neilsen were murdered yesterday morning 5th April 2018 allegedly by Alizee’s Italian husband, Peter Neilsen.
They were allegedly murdered in the family’s residence at Ocean Parade, Banana Island in the early hours of Thursday.
Alizee’s corpse along with that of her daughter was said to have been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy.
