UK court sentence Nigerian dad, Chizoro Edohasim, to 4 years imprisonment

A UK court this mornig sentenced 39 year old Nigerian dad, Chizoro Edohasim, to four years imprisonment for causing the death of his nine year old daughter, Olivia. Chizoro , a medical researcher, was taking his daughter to her maths class when their car was involved in an accident along Manchester road on May 7th 2016.

Investigations by the police showed that Chizoro Edohasim, had been driving recklessly when the accident happened. Olivia died on the spot. Chizorom had jumped a red light in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, then crashed into the wall while accelerating. His other daughter, Eva who was in the car sustained serious injuries. Witnesses had told the court that Chizoro had been driving like a lunatic.
After many months of trial, the court today sentenced him to four years imprionment.
