Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, was on Channels TV last night
where he insisted that the over 21,000 teachers that failed the October
2017 competency test, remain sacked. He said this while reacting to the
protest embarked upon by the Nigeria Labor Congress to kick against the
mass sack of the teachers, yesterday January 11th.
Governor El-Rufai maintained that no amount of political blackmailing
will make his administration rescind its decision to sack the teachers.
According to him, efforts are being made to employ new competent and
qualified teachers to work in the state public schools
