In
line with the directives of the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Mr.
Imohimi Edgal that Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and the Area
'G' Commander to go on inspection tour of Agege and ensure adequate
security and attention is in place for smooth operations of the
construction and all road users go about their normal duties without
being hindered, the two Commanders Wednesday afternoon led a team of
senior police officers to some major spots in Agege.
The
team have been directed to conduct 24-hour patrol operation and control
of traffic in the area and take further measures to put the area under
watch, purposely to further discourage crime in the area and its
environs while the construction lasted.
