One would expect that the perspective would be greeted with outrage but the replies to the tweet show that a lot of people agree or are thinking along those lines.

The Twitter user insinuated that Mary cheated on her husband and got pregnant, but because she didn't want to be stoned for adultery, she claimed the baby was a miracle from God and started a new religion.
