The Lagos state police command last night arrested over 30 traffic
robbers in the Oshodi area of the state. SARS operatives arrested the
hoodlums who attacked motorists in traffic gridlock caused by the
ongoing construction in that area.
The Commissioner of police in the state, Edgal Imohimi, has advised
members of the public that have been attacked in that area to kindly
visit the State SARS office ikeja and help in identifying some of the
arrested suspects. Suspects will be charged to court on Monday 13th,
November 2017.The Commissioner has promised that the command will do all it takes to locate criminal hideouts and arrest more suspected traffic robbers to ease the free movement of Lagosians, and ensure Lagosians feel safe to go about their daily activities especially as the Yuletide period is fast approaching.
