At least four persons have been confirmed dead and many others
injured after a gas tank exploded at Okpokiri Service Station at Orji
Owerri, Imo state yesterday evening November 27th. According to reports,
some persons who had come in from Abuja to carry out some work on the
gas tank were busy working when the explosion occured. Bodies of some of
the victims were mutilated and scattered in the station where the
incident happened.
