Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has advised President Buhari to erect a
big prison facility in the North that will accommodate the corrupt
officials that will work at the North East Development Commission.
Speaking during plenary at the Senate yesterday, Murray-Bruce said his
recent visit to the Niger Delta to inspect projects being executed by
the Niger Delta Development Commission in Bayelsa East, showed that some
persons were using the commission to siphon money as most of the
projects embarked upon by the commission had 90% failure rate. He said
he is regretting that he voted for the North East Development Commission
bill to be passed by the Senate.
