Twitter mocks ugly looking court sketch of Wayne Rooney, compares him to a ‘British gangster’

 

Earlier Monday, Wayne Rooney appeared at the Stockport Magistrates Court, where he was banned from driving for two years and given 100 hours' community service after pleading guilty to a drink-driving charge.

But soon after his ugly looking court sketch made it to the internet, Twitter users made the best fun out of it. He was compared to a "British gangster" in the awkward drawing which shows him standing in the dock.

The former Manchester United striker who was banned today, was stopped while he was driving 29-year-old party girl Laura Simpson home from a night out in her Volkswagen Beetle in Wilmslow, Cheshire, at 2am on September 1. The car had a faulty brake light and his breath reading was 104mg per 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 35mg.
