American rapper B.o.B believes the world is flat and he is so
determined to prove it that he's now started a GoFundMe campaign to
raise money to that effect.
It all started last year when the rapper went on Twitter to proclaim
that the Earth is flat, not round as believed. He tried to convince his
followers by sharing a picture showing the distance between two points
16 miles apart and questioned why there was no curve.He tweeted: "The cities in the background are approx. 16miles apart... where is the curve? please explain this "
His tweet generated lots of replies. Many people have tried to reason with him, including the astrophysicist and broadcaster Neil deGrasse Tyson but B.o.B would not be convinced.
The "Nothin' on You" star has now set out on a mission to convince the world that the earth is flat. He started a GoFundMe campaign to find Earth's curve and see if planet earth is actually round.
B.o.B is asking for $200,000 to "launch multiple satellites into space" to observe, and try to disprove, what centuries of science and technology have already confirmed. He has titled his mission "Show BoB The Curve" and people are already donating to his cause. So far, his campaign has racked up a little over $2,600.
