Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen split after nearly 10 years together

 

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have split after almost 10 years together, according to several reports on Tuesday.

The duo, who have two-year-old daughter Briar Rose together, have been in a relationship on and off for almost 10 years, since they met on set of Jumper in 2007, but never got married.

They were engaged in December 2008 but broke up in 2010 before they got back together three months later. Now, reports have it that they have split and have very little chance of reconciling. A source said they are "completely, officially done."

"She's full-time back in L.A. He's in Toronto," a source told UsWeekly, adding "They’ve been on the outs for a couple of months."

The O.C. actress was last pictured with Hayden in June when she visited him on the Toronto set of his new movie Little Italy. Rachel's last Instagram post to feature Hayden was a father's day message from their daughter scrawled on a notepad and in April she wished him a happy birthday.The same month it was reported that the actors had sold their sprawling Sherman Oaks home in a private off-market deal for $3.8 million.

Selling the house might have been taken as a hint that all was not well with the couple but just last month Rachel discussed the idea of having more children with the Star Wars star.

She told Lapalme magazine: "I may have another child, that's still up in the air. I'm having so much fun with the one right now. I want to be happy and content. All the life BS that happens doesn't matter. You want to be happy, you want your kid to be happy and you want everyone in your life to be healthy and happy."
The couple are yet to speak on the split.
