Last night, the cast of The Royal Hibiscus Hotel and TIFF Programmers
and Directors joined Mo Abudu at the Taco Restaurant in Toronto’s Ritz
Carlton for a birthday dinner like no other. The birthday girl was in
high spirits and with good reason too. International entertainment
magazine, Variety, dished out a glowing review of The Royal Hibiscus
Hotel earlier in the day.
With the successful screening of her second movie at the Toronto
International Film Festival in as many years, you can only imagine what
other feathers she would have added to her cap by this time next year.
