Beyoncé releases remix to J Balvin's ''Mi Gente'' to benefit Hurricane Maria relief efforts (photos/video)

Beyonce gave birth only three months ago but she's back to making music.

The superstar singer revealed in an Instgram post that she's taking part in a new remix of the J Balvin and Willy William song, "Mi Gente," and that her proceeds from the single's sales will go to hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico, Mexico and the other affected Caribbean islands.

Beyoncé made the revelation with one of her funky instavids, showing photos of her in a colorful striped dress with a bright yellow Off White belt, moving to the beat of the track. J Balvin shared Beyonce's post on his own Instagram page and dropped a video for the new release on YouTube.

A statement read on Beyoncé's website read: "We're heartbroken by the hurricanes and earthquakes that have devastated families around the world. There are many ways to help. We've listed a few organizations that are on the ground from Mexico to the Caribbean, lending a hand to those who need it most."
