Brigadier-General Raji Benbela, Commander of the 4 Brigade in the
Nigeria Army is dead. The late Benbela led the famous Operation
Crocodile Smile in Edo State last year during the governorship election
in the state.
Mourning his demise, Ali Baba who was a classmate with him many years ago wrote, 'Rest in Peace General Benbella Raji. Classmate at Command Secondary School, Ipaja. You will be fondly remembered. Loved how you used to call me run away General'.
