11 people brutally whipped for committing crimes ranging from gambling to adultery in Indonesia

Eleven men and women were subjected to public flogging in Indonesia for commiting crimes ranging from gambling to adultery. The beatings occurred in Banda Aceh - the only province in the country which implements Sharia law in full.

Those who committed the 'crimes' were forced to take a cane across their back were hit more between 10 to 29 times by a masked enforcer.
