Nigerian dancehall king Patoranking, best known for hits like “No
kissing baby”, “Girlie O” and “My woman, my everything” is set to
perform alongide Tanzanian singer and songwriter Alikiba, who both made
their debut on Coke Studio during last year’s season.
Patoranking who was paired last year with Tanzania Singer Vanessa
Mdee, spoke about their hot collaboration in Nairobi during the show’s
recording, Patoranking said: “Big shout out to Coke Studio Africa for
having me for a second time – the whole music making experience is
always a beautiful experience. Imagine me with a legend like Alikiba?
It’s a big one!”. His imagination is now a reality as he and Alikiba are
paired to make music which will be produced by top Nigerian music
producer Masterkraft.
Coke Studio Africa brings artists from different countries and genres
together each year, giving upcoming artists an opportunity to work with
some of the best talents in the music industry. Its certain that we all
have a breath-taking show to look forward to for this year’s season.
The new season is set to premiere in different regions from September
this year and will broadcast in more than 30 countries across Africa.
