Kaitlyn Stewart of the Royal Dinette in Canada has been named the best bartender in the world at the Global World Class Bartenders Competition on the August 24, 2017 in Mexico City.
It was a gruelling four-day affair featuring the winners of the World Class Regional Bartenders Competition.
55 of the world’s finest bartenders got trimmed to 10 and only 4 remained after the Lucha Libre round;
a head-to-head cocktail contest where bartenders created their best
classic cocktails. These 4 were all true masters of the Diageo Reserve
range comprising luxury brands like Cîroc, Johnnie Walker Deluxe, Don
Julio and Tanqueray amongst many others. Kaitlyn demonstrated poise and
passion to outlast Denmark’s Mate Csatlos, Turkey’s Kevin Patnode and
Australia’s Andrea Gualdi.
Kaitlyn will
now begin a year of feats and fun as she will now tour the world as
Diageo Reserve Brand Ambassador whipping up the most innovative
cocktails with the Diageo Reserve Portfolio.
The German city of Berlin will next host the finest clash of bartenders in 2018. World Class goes to Berlin, Germany
