Deadline Day Transfer: 6 African players who might make late moves

 Ahmed Musa
It's Deadline Day for the summer transfer window in Europe and a host of clubs are still trying to get last-minute deals done.
A couple of African players might be among the players who will make late moves.
1. Ahmed Musa

After a very underwhelming debut season for Leicester City, Ahmed Musa is expected to leave the 2016 Premier League champions.
He is not fancied by manager Craig Shakespeare who left him out of games in the second half of last season.
That hasn’t changed this season with Musa’s only appearance so far in the Carabao Cup win over Sheffield United on Tuesday, August 22.
There is no place for the Nigerian in the team and might make a late move to reunite with his former CSKA Moscow boss Leonid Slutsky at Hull City.
2. Riyad Mahrez

It’s surprising that Mahrez hasn’t still got a club despite handing in a transfer request at Leicester City.
The Algerian, however, has a host of suitors and could make a late move to either Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona or Roma.
Chelsea are looking for players to boost their thin squad ahead of a rigorous campaign, Arsenal might need a replacement for Alexis Sanchez while Barcelona have been in the market for a playmaker since the exit of Neymar.
3. Adama Traore

Malian forward Traore is also a player who might make a move on transfer Deadline Day.
The gifted player is looking to leave Middlesbrough although the club doesn’t want him to leave on the cheap.
Lille manager Marcelo Bielsa is interested.
4. Diafra Sakho
It seems Sakho’s days at West Ham is over and is reportedly on the verge of making a move to Ligue 1.
Stade Rennais are favourites to sign the Senegal international while there might also be an interest from Crystal Palace.
5. Vincent Aboubakar

Porto’s Aboubakar might also be on the move with Marseille interested in the Cameroonian striker.
Marseille have made three offers for Aboubakar although Wolves have reportedly entered the race to sign him.
6. Daniel Amartey
Agony in the Premier League continues but respite for Daniel Amartey Daniel Amartey

Amartey was signed halfway in the 2015/2016 season in Leicester City’s historic Premier League title win.
With the likes Wilfred Ndidi, Danny Drinkwater, Matty James, Nampalys Mendy, Vicente Iborra and Andy King all above him, the Ghanaian might be set for a late move.
Stuttgart are reportedly interested in signing the 22-year-old
